BANQUET WITH THE STARS
On Sunday evening, August 22, a delicious DARK SHADOWS banquet will be held at 8:00 pm in the Grand Ballroom at the Marriott. The actors will sit among the attendees and everyone will receive a rare collectible -- a complete, original Dark Shadows kinescope episode on 16mm film! Special prizes will also be awarded and rare video treats will be shown on the big screen! The dinner costs only $50 per person and is non-refundable. Reservations (required) must be received by August 14. Send payment with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Dark Shadows Festival. Dress formal if you wish!

   

TWILIGHT AT COLLINWOOD
On Friday, August 20, the Festival will sponsor a first-ever late afternoon/early evening visit to the magnificent Lyndhurst Estate ("Collinwood" in the M-G-M DS movies) in Tarrytown, New York. A special auction of DS movie memorabilia will take place, and a lucky winner will receive an exclusive visit to the closed-off tower room! Each attendee will also receive a commemorative DS keepsake not available elsewhere. Buses will depart the Marriott Hotel at the World Trade Center at 3:30 pm and return to the hotel at 9:30 pm. Bring a sack meal and drink or plan to eat dinner after returning from the trip. The cost of the trip is only $35.00 per person and is non-refundable. Reservations (required) must be received by August 14, but the limit will be reached well before that date. Send payment with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Dark Shadows Festival. We will also screen the movies in the buses on the trip to and from Tarrytown!

To obtain the discount Festival hotel room rate, you must call the Marriott at (212) 938-9100 and mention Dark Shadows or fax or send the hotel reservation form available from the Festival after you send in your membership payment. For discount American Airlines reservations only, call Classic Cruises & Tours at 1-516-486-1007.
